Patrick Motor Group is currently seeking a Human Resource Director to be part of our fast-growing business. The right candidate will not only have experience in the Human Resource field but will need be a "people person", someone who enjoys direct interaction with all of Patrick Motor Group employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and validate Human Resources programs, policies, and initiatives to align with short and long-term business plans.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching.
  • Work with Directors and Management to manage, promote, and post job opportunities.
  • Conduct interviews and make recommendations on internal and external hires.
  • New hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Assist with team member’s disciplinary/corrective action.
  • Administration of PML/STD.
  • Support equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Responsible for all processes concerning Employee Benefits, including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, & Supplemental insurances; 401K; and all Unemployment Compensation; Workers Compensation.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere in the company, which will foster an “open door” policy to improve employee communication and satisfaction.
  • Be the representative of the company to communicate and present the culture of the company.
  • Ability to plan, organize, communicate, and motivate employees.
  • Coordinate open enrollment and ensure benefit programs are administered effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • HR Certification (PHR/SPHR or the SHRM equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience in automotive industry preferred.
  • Five years’ experience in Human Resources required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, financial reports, government regulations and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, associates, and or managers.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize.
  • Must be a highly motivated, service-oriented, and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to participate in developing procedures manuals and handbooks.
  • Supervisory and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate good internal customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background check required.
