The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, discipline assistance and basic benefits knowledge for a designated department(s) for an assigned program area within the organization. This individual serves as a full-service human resource professional able to answer and assist in various duties to support the human resource management function. The HR Generalist will work closely with specific internal clients to ensure positive HR outcomes and ensuring that operating policies and procedures established for the human resource function are followed. This position requires exceptional communication and coordination between departments and within the HR department in order to provide the best service model. This individual will respond to inquiries or requests for information or services and maintain appropriate records of transactions.
Work schedule is Monday remote work and Tuesday through Friday in person work at Plymouht Meeting PA
Education/Training: B.S. or B.A. degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; specialized human resource management education/training.
Skill(s): Proficient reading and mathematics skills; excellent writing, grammar, interpersonal relations, and communicative skills; thorough knowledge of human resources and procedures; thorough knowledge of laws and regulations affecting the human resource management function; proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office software including Excel (advanced level) and HRIS experience. Must be able to communicate effectively, project urgent needs, build relationships and have a positive attitude.
Experience: A minimum of five years' related experience required with experience in recruitment, employee relations and HRIS administration.
