Position Summary:
Multi-site responsibility for full cycle talent management, leadership training, employee relations, engagement, employee competency and meeting/exceeding department and company KPIs. Provide tools and support to enable leadership to be successful.
Major Essential Responsibilities:
- Be a role model. Work with employees and leadership to create an environment that is safe, engaging, and value-added. Emulate the behavior you want leaders to have/develop. Be the “always learner”.
- Understands overall business and HR strategy and partners with leadership to deliver HR programs, policies and practices. Assesses implications of HR initiatives on business and recommends actions and/or improvements.
- Responsibility for full cycle of talent management activities, including effective recruiting, onboarding, orientation, training and development and succession planning.
- Drives strategic workforce planning in partnership with management to ensure the right people in the right roles at the right time, to achieve business goals and growth strategies.
- Coaches direct labor and supervisory colleagues through analyzing situations, identifying appropriate action steps and providing appropriate support for decision making.
- Expand employee engagement through supporting organized events and improving employee communication tools.
- Through daily practice, ongoing management and audit, ensures compliance with company policies, best practices and federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Anticipates human resource issues, concerns, and needs based on business strategies and internal and external environmental and competitive factors; and recommends proper course of action.
- Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications Education, Experience & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience working in a human resources department at an exempt level.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or equivalent preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Works in production and office environments.
- 10% overnight travel may be required during on-campus recruiting.
- Occasional, long workdays necessary to fulfill job requirements.
- 60% sitting; 10% stooping and bending; and 30% standing or walking.
- Lift and transport an average weight of 5 lbs., maximum 10 lbs.
- Manual dexterity of both hands.
- Near Visual Acuity (either corrected or uncorrected).
- Ability to hear and understand others, articulate verbal direction and instruction, give feedback to others and brainstorm with customers and engineers.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR).
Interactions:
Regular contact and communications with all levels of the organization to plan, organize, or evaluate resources as necessary in the fulfillment of job duties or to provide instruction and coaching.
