Import Customer Representative/Coordinator

To help excel our organization’s growth, we’re seeking an eager and passionate individual to join our team as an Import Customer Care Coordinator supporting our Import Team’s operational tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your professional growth in international and domestic logistics.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, control, and distribute all required air and ocean import documentation in a timely fashion to appropriate parties (i.e. delivery orders, arrival notice, etc.)
· Ensure system information match with actual documentation
· Communicate with air and ocean carriers, origin and destination locations regarding shipment status, special handling, and delivery of freight
· Mediate delivery requirements and shipment tracking between customers, truckers, brokers, warehouses, and vendors to ensure proper delivery
· Ensure accuracy and completeness of import documentation
· Act as an operational liaison with customer to provide excellent, professional customer service
· Coordinate truck deliveries with dispatch team
· Handle order fulfillment operations, billing, and customer service functions in a timely manner
· Positively impact client success
· Reports directly to Import Operations Manager
Requirements
· Associates Degree (minimum); Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
· 1+ years of experience in handling customer service
· 1+ years in freight forwarding, logistics, and/or supply chain
· Willingness to constantly learn
· Strong attention to detail
· Well organized and quick to adapt
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
· Good and clear communication skills
· Speaks Korean (preferred)
Work Conditions
· Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 (based on experience)
Salary is negotiable upon in-person interview.

· Hours: M-F, 9AM to 6PM
