Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of PLC and good understanding of AC and DC drives.
- Properly use and read analog and digital test equipment
- Familiar with electrical distribution safety requirements.
- Have a good understanding and able to apply the national electric code.
- Have a good understanding and able to apply the metric system.
- Able to size and make plans to install simple electrical services.
Skills
- Set a high standard of demonstrated concern and performance of safe work practices according to the plant and industry safety standards.
- Answer calls for electrician as directed by the Maintenance Team Leader and dictated by daily priority list.
- Troubleshoot and repair Major breakdowns of production and plant equipment.
- Provide the proper follow-up to insure that problems are really fixed and don't re-occur
- Record and report all work in the established system.
- Perform listed project work designated by supervisor when not answering calls.
