Orchard & Vineyard Supply is currently sourcing for a retail associate to assist with Inside Counter Sales in The Dalles, OR store location along with providing assistance within our yard. Agriculture/Irrigation experience a plus. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service as well as various other company tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Communicating With and Providing Exemplary Customer Service to External and Internal Partners
• Filling Store Orders
• Scheduling Deliveries
• Loading and Unloading Trucks
• Store Cleaning and Product Stocking
• Occasional Company Errands

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Completion of High School Education and/or GED Equivalency. Candidate must have 1 year prior Retail/Customer Service Experience in addition to fork lift experience. Must possess good oral communication skills and sound analytical skills. Ability to operate computer for data input and retrieval. Ability to operate cash register.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales invoices, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively individually and before groups of co-workers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
