Central CT Specialized Military Equipment Manufacturer seeking highly motivate and responsible individual to perform entry level Inspector duties in a flexible, dynamic environment. Diverse duties include visual and dimensional inspections (receiving, inprocess, final and supplier source inspections). Applicant must be able to read and interpret blueprints and internal technical documents (inspection test procedures, quality ystem instructions, engineering documents, etc). Must be familiar with, and be able to use various standard measuring and test equipment such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, comparators, etc. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and ability to complete accurate inspection records a must. Computer experience preferred. Experience in calibration and auditing a plus. Will train the right candidate. This is is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to make a positive impact in the quality assurance field.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
- Ensure that products meet all safety and regulatory standards.
- Document findings and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections.
- Provide feedback to production staff on product quality.
- Perform regular maintenance on inspection equipment.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
