Job Summary

The Integrated Communications role is a key position on the Marketing team at Millennium Space Systems, reporting to the Vice President of Marketing. The role works closely with the leadership team, business development and program managers, executing an integrated communications plan, both internal and external. This includes tradeshows, content generation, social media and employee engagement.

This position's internal job code is Communications & Branding Manager. Our team is currently hiring for level 4.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and execution of communications strategies and idea generation in support of business goals.
• Support the execution of events and tradeshows.
• Generate key content (e.g., news releases, articles, scripts, speeches, etc.).
• Help identify our voice and volume of social media content and engagement across relevant platforms.
• Intellectually curious, able to think on your feet, creative and continuously reinvent.
• Proactive self-starter who is passionate about identifying and testing new ideas and innovating to engage employees and drive business results.
• Confident storyteller with an ability to uncover and create stories, distill key messages and present them in a compelling way for use internally and externally.
• Collaborates across the organization with multiple stakeholders to shape and deliver impactful employee communications and interactive experiences.
• Build measurability into communications plans and gather insights to continuously improve employee engagement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communications skills (AP Style) - writing test required.
• Ability to deliver on objectives, timelines and deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications and/or equivalent proven experience.
• Five+ years experience in relevant industry communications experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Secret security clearance.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office suite
• Aerospace and defense industry experience, and familiarity with DoD & global government customers.
• Experience remaining within a budget while executing tradeshows and events.
• Ability to write summary reports and read-aheads for executive-level audiences.
• Strong organization, collaboration, presentation and facilitation skills, and the ability to navigate at all levels of the organization; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent business acumen, written and verbal communication, program management and problem-solving skills.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay-Range

• Level 4: $108,800 - $160,000
