Our ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience, skills and qualities:

Principle Responsibilities

· Receiving and processing warehouse stock products and verify its contents.

· Pick merchandise from the distribution center and transport it to the fabrication area.

· Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log.

· Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately.

· Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times.

· Performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits.

· Maintains a clean, neat, orderly and safe working environment.

· Report any discrepancies to supervisor.

· Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.

· Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order.

· Ensure all raw materials are labeled properly with appropriate dates.

· Using basic hand tools if needed.

· Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.

· Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

· Promote company values and principles.

· Interface with all Operations departments.

· Perform other job-related duties as assigned

· Maintains housekeeping practices.

· Arrange raw material areas in such a way for easy access and ease of handling.

· Monitor material processes to ensure that material movement follows SOPs.

· Ensure that materials can be distributed without delays.

· Help with monthly inventory counts, variance counts, audit reporting, etc

Duties Specific to Each Principle Responsibility

Receiving

· Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of incoming shipments.

· After receipt of raw materials, product will be carried and put away in the appropriate storage locations.

Skillset Required

o Communicates well, verbally and written, with others.

o Must be certified to operate a forklift.

o GED Equivalent and a minimum of 1 years warehouse experience.

o Ability to lift 60-100 lbs.

o Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices and packing slips.

o Basic math skills, ability to read a tape measure, ability to accurately complete arithmetic computations to sufficiently perform duties of the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
