Job Summary

The Inventory Technician is responsible for performing all day-to-day inventory and distribution activities in the facility. The Inventory Technician reports to team leads and the Inventory Supervisor, executes daily task plans set by management, maintains a clean, healthy and safe work environment, and ensures the Company’s quality standards are met.

Essential Functions

  • Receive, store and reconcile inventory
  • Maintains inventory by conducting regular physical counts, variable reconciliation, inputting data, etc.
  • Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Work with sales and manufacturing staff as required
  • Ensure proper documentation has been submitted to the relevant parties
  • Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized and accessible
  • Demonstrate Natura values in every action and always operate with integrity beyond
  • reproach
  • Drive to meet or exceed department safety, quality and productivity KPIs
  • Ensure sufficient inventory levels to prevent stockout and/or quality events
  • Ensure 100% inspection readiness for all areas of responsibility
  • Participate in deviation investigations and CAPAs
  • Report successes and challenges to leadership in a timely manner; participate in devising creative and compliant solutions to minimize downtime while always protecting cost and quality
  • Train others in area of responsibility

Basic Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in warm/humid conditions for long hours
  • Able to perform in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Able to work independently as well as with multiple teams and individuals
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift 25 pounds regularly throughout the workday
  • Safety and quality champion
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cannabis / Agricultural experience a plus
  • Inventory / Warehousing experience a plus
  • Familiar with LEAN/Six Sigma principles
  • Proficient with Metrc; comfortable working within an ERP/MRP environment

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
  • Ability to work in high/low temperatures and in high levels of humidity
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products
  • Regularly required to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods, perform repetitive motion with scissors
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
  • The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
