The IT Support Specialist - Helpdesk is responsible for supporting our internal technology needs. The incumbent manages day to day help desk needs of our company employees via email, phone, and internal chat communications, as well as works on internal projects to keep our technology current and relevant to the job functions performed here at LCS.

Responsibilities

  • Provide top quality support to our internal employees in regard to their technology needs.
  • Perform imaging of PCs on a weekly basis for incoming new hires.
  • Work within a team atmosphere to complete internal projects related to how we use technology within the company.
  • Manage hardware lifecycle within the company.
  • Identify security threats and working with our internal security team to manage them.
  • Maintain a proper inventory of internal assets.
  • Troubleshoot audio'video issues as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; Associate degree in related field preferred
  • Prior experience in a helpdesk environment
  • Strong fundamentals of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, & ICMP (in a production environment)
  • Working knowledge of Windows products
  • Knowledge of PC components and repair.
  • Potential for seldom after hour needs as it pertains to internal projects.
  • Availability to work in office 5 days a week
