The Junior Web Designer will support the RIMC web team in the creation and maintenance of websites, graphic elements, and all digital content to target consumer engagement and meet the client’s needs and expectations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Update content on client websites, including but not limited to blogs and landing pages.
• Design, build, customize, and launch client websites in WordPress.
• Perform core/theme/plugin file updates on client websites to ensure continued compatibility, functionality, and security.
• Troubleshoot various client website issues.
• Work with the digital team to add/maintain clients’ analytics, tracking, and conversion code as required for Google and Social Media campaigns.
• Maintain the accounts for the agency/client hosting providers, domain name registrars, and online form databases.
• Meet with the sales department, internal managers, and clients to discuss, brainstorm, and plan website projects.
• Meet with the production team, sales team, digital team, and company president to determine the status and direction of various projects.
• Provide assistance and backup for all members of the web and production team in order to balance and mitigate workloads.
• Record, organize, and track all ongoing projects and log all daily time in the agency project management software.
• Research/continue education on the latest advancements, features, regulations, and best practices pertaining to web design/coding, relevant software programs, search engine/social media functionality, advertising laws, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Educational / Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience working with Adobe Creative Suite as well as working knowledge of HTML, CSS, SEO/SEM best practices and the Wordpress CMS platform. Knowledge of PHP and Javascript is a plus. Must be familiar with various social media platforms.
