Licensed/Waivered Mental Health Clinician

One (1) Full-time/Non-Exempt Waivered/Exempt Licensed/Salary Range: $76,440 - $89,544 Annually (DOE)

Additional Pay differentials - must qualifying through program, shift, testing or verification.

• Experience 2 years Post CA BBS Licensure Direct Service ($1.00 per hour)

• Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish ($1.00 per hour)

• Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language - Interpret from American Sign Language (ASL) to English, and English to ASL. ($1.00 per hour)

• Crisis 5150 Certification ($2.00)

Performs professional level counseling services, including managing cases, and conducting therapy sessions. Must be BBS licensed or intern with at least two years related experience working with at-risk youth in a mental health or residential setting. Must be able to travel overnight occasionally and travel regularly during the normal workday hours. May need own vehicle for travel. Must provide valid vehicle insurance and registration. Must pass fingerprint background through DOJ, FBI, CAC, pre-employment physical & TB before hire, mandated reporter. Fluent in written & verbal Spanish language preferred.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position may work within ALL other agency programs, consistent with their scope of practice, on a as needed basis. In addition, may require occasional flexible work schedule to meet the individualized needs of each client.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CA Driver's License, Current Auto Insurance, Clean DMV Printout, clear background check w/DOJ, CAC, FBI, CPR and First Aid Certified. TB Test and Physical at the time of employment.
