About the Role

Lighting Installation Technicians are responsible for the installation of low-voltage lighting products while maintaining safe and professional standards. Technicians will have communication with Lighting Sales Specialist and the customer to ensure quality and maintain the scope of the project. Technicians will oversee instillations, any trouble shooting and all regular maintenance on the lighting systems on our maintenance plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• 2+ years’ experience in installing irrigation, cable, internet, or landscape lighting preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, be professional and remain on task.
• Drive van/trailer safely and according to local regulations.
• Review job(s) for the day based on work orders.
• Creative mindset and can come up with innovative solutions to unique problems.
• Confirm that van/trailer is prepared for the day including the following:All lighting for each project to be completed that day

Additional lighting materials as needed
Equipment, Ladders, and tools to complete projects
Fuel

• Ability to function in all Blingle software and their best practices.
• Responsible for ensuring crew production and safety to Blingle standards.
• Assess each job and determine proper start location.
• Complete work as described in work order.
• Complete any on-site cleanup needed.
• Complete final walkthrough on-site with customer, explaining any autotimers, app software, etc.
• Photograph each project before beginning and after completion, with lights on.
• Complete any required record keeping and submit receipts as relevant.

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

• This is a full-time position, and primary hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (flexible start/end times) with the potential for weekend hours. Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance is required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, required
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pass a post-offer assessment/background check

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

• Landscape Design
• Irrigation background
• Roofing background
