Line Cook Job Description

Pay: Starting at $18-20 per hour

Paid Time Off/Work-Life Balance: 3 weeks accrued after 60 days of employment

Culinary Skills Necessary

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in:

  • Preparing food items according to the standard recipes, ensuring the quality standards are met consistently
  • Assisting in controlling expenses and minimizing waste of all food items
  • Working in any section of the kitchen when necessary or as requested by the Outlet Chef
  • Being familiar with all sections of the kitchen to facilitate the flexible use of employees
  • Ensuring that operating and kitchen equipment is maintained to a good standard with minimum breakage
  • Breaking down at the end of meal periods and storing the food properly
