Weyerhaeuser’s Coos Bay Timberlands operation, based out of Coos Bay, OR, has an opening for a Loader. We are seeking individuals who desire to work in a market-focused logging environment. This is a full-time, hourly position. Hourly employees at this operation are represented by the IAM-AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the Labor Agreement) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k plans, vacation, and holidays. Rate of pay is $33.745 per hour.

Key Functions:

• Safely and competently operate the loader while adhering to safety, environmental, production and quality standards
• Expected to make daily adjustments to maximize logging system output as dictated by business needs (weather, labor, truck availability, etc.)
• Fulfill loader responsibilities and record keeping including the ability to load logs to the required standards, quickly and effectively react to sorting changes, and fully utilize trucks through dispatch to maximize the number of loads per truck per day
• Perform and assist on equipment inspections and fully support and participate in preventative maintenance procedures and routine maintenance repairs as they develop

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience operating a loader
• Demonstrated commitment and ability to work safely in both an individual and team environment
• Fulfill all loading responsibilities
• Must have excellent listening and communication skills; ability to demonstrate open, honest, and regular exchange of information, and treat all employees with respect and dignity
