Job Purpose/Background: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. The Logistics Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Procurement and be responsible for overseeing the delivery of solar, wind and storage equipment across multiple projects spread out across the country ensuring accurate inventory management and reliable transportation.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics standard operating procedure (SOP).
  • Create and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers.
  • Manage and coordinate deliveries of solar, wind and storage equipment, including the scheduling of shipments, tracking and monitoring of deliveries.
  • Work internally with project management and externally with vendors and third-party logistics providers to ensure on time deliveries.
  • Maintain and manage inventory across the fleet, including inventory audits.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risks associated with all logistics activities.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding and being a liaison between Accounts Payable and vendors.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
  • 3-5yrs of logistics experience, preferably in the Renewable industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and balance competing priorities
  • Proficient with logistics management software and tools
