Tiger Labor & Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of a outdoor product manufacturer/ distributor for a full time LOGISTICS MANAGER position.
This is a full-time position; wherein candidate would be transferred to company permanant position after completing probationary period.
Starting pay is based on experience. This is a salaried position
Description:
- Ensure supply chain is efficient and effective throughout the organization.
- Organize, store, and monitor the distribution of goods to ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destinations.
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and transportation.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Required to support or complete safety audits/inspections of the assigned work area, thorough investigations of incidents and accidents, e.g. (Near Miss Report/Cause and Corrective Action Reports).
- Monitor shipping and receiving processes and product quality to ensure correct procedures are followed.
- Maintain compliance with order accuracy, label placement, pallet specs, receiving accuracy, and loading accuracy.
- Complete daily shipping and receiving reports.
- Encourage employee involvement in achieving shared organizational objectives.
- Receive and properly handle and/or direct employee concerns or issues.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple demands at a given moment.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
