LPN / Medical Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant

Position Summary: Provide patient-focused service within our Ob-Gyn clinics. Job responsibilities may include patient registration and/or intake, clinical duties such as phlebotomy, specimen collection aor patient assessment activities such as vital signs while displaying courteous and engaging behavior toward our patients. Requires LPN license, MA Certification or Certified Nursing Assistant.

What you will do:

• Assist the Physicians throughout the patient appointment, as needed
• Return patient phone calls timely and provide necessary information
• Provide medicine refills for patients, as appropriate
• Obtain updated medical information from patient and take vital signs.
• Update the patient record in the EHR system
• Send inter-office messages for authorizations for medicine or procedures per directions from the Physician
• Ensure cleanliness and well-stocked rooms for each patient throughout day
• Maintain patient confidentiality

What you will bring:

• Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse License, Certification
• Experience with documentation of care, medication administration, infection control precautions, assessing patient educational needs, physical assessment, obtaining vital signs, performing point of care testing and care coordination.
• Associate’s Degree or Graduate of a Technical School, or BN
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
• Strong attention to detail
• Empathetic and compassionate care provider
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment & support the medical practitioners in the office

CNA Pay Range = $16.00 - $18.00

MA Pay Range = $17.00 - $19.00

LPN Pay Range = $22.00 - $25.00

All employment offers are conditional based upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
