MA-Based, Traveling Hearing Care Professional (Licensed in MA) Job at Eversound

Eversound is a remote-first but Boston-based company; this position is for a full-time Massachusetts licensed audiologist.

A Little About You: You are an adaptable, forward thinking, hearing care professional who is interested in how technology can be used to reach a greater number of patients. You care about your patients and always make recommendations that have their best interest in mind. You are interested in helping to create a unique, FUN, patient experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct audiometric testing onsite and after-care remotely with assistance from our onsite assistant
  • Hearing Aid recommendations and sales
  • Onsite and remote programming of hearing aids
  • Hearing aid fittings & adjustments
  • Perform cerumen management periodically
  • Counsel residents of senior living communities and their family members

Professional Skills and Qualifications:

  • MA or AuD. in Audiology or Licensed HIS
  • Active and current hearing aid dispensing license
  • Experience with tele-audiology
  • Willingness to travel to various locations around Massachusetts
  • Willingness to be licensed in multiple states
  • Willingness to work with all of the “big 6” hearing aid manufacturers
  • Growth oriented, works with a sense of urgency and ownership
  • Out of the box thinker with a bias towards testing and iterating
  • Highly motivated and self-directed team player
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and highly articulate
  • Ability to lead and inspire others, without direct reporting relationships

Occupation Classification Requirements:

  • Audiologist
  • Licensed to test hearing and dispense hearing aids in the state of Massachusetts (required)
  • You will need reliable transportation to travel within the state of Massachusetts
