Machine Operator Job at Temp Experts
TempExperts is recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a thriving team in Tampa.
This associate will be responsible for assembling electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to specifications.
Responsibilities:
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), equivalent from a vocational school or one (1) year related experience and/or training.
Security: U.S. Person required (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Competencies:
- Reads work instructions and wiring diagrams, receives verbal instructions, or follows sample assemblies.
- Operating production machines to perform automated to semi-automated assembly functions such as bare die attach and wire bonding.
- Daily machine performance verifications prior to production runs.
- Perform assembly under microscope using tweezers and other similar tools.
- Perform installation of substrates and components in complex assemblies, using paste and sheet epoxies
- Must be able to perform repetitive production line operations daily.
- Read drawings and capable of interpreting drawing diagram to mechanically assembly parts.
- Capable of processing drawing details into executable action items and processes.
- Understands basic mechanical operations: tightening hardware with appropriate screwdriver or wrench, hardware requirements; screw with flat and lock washer (where required), hardware description differences.
- Completes any additional assignments as requested by Department Supervisor.
- Comply with and ensure department compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common logic to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must have excellent hand dexterity while handling extremely small and sensitive components.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-883 is desired
