The Calistoga Motor Lodge is in search of a Maintenance Engineer who is guest focused, detail-oriented and dedicated to taking great care of our space and facilities.

The Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa, inspired by the tradition of American roadtrips in the 1950s; in addition to our warm and personal guest service, renovated guest rooms, spa, and brand new restaurant, we offer guests the experience of our three mineral pools which are naturally fed by Calistoga hot springs.

Responsibilities:

• 
  To understand and respond to all guests needs in timely and professional manner.
  To satisfactorily perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the property, including assistance with:
• Tending to Geothermal Pools (pool certification is helpful, but not required)
• Plumbing
• Air conditioning / HVAC
• Carpentry
• Patching and painting
• To conduct daily inspections of areas and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• To maintain all areas in safe and sanitary conditions. Communicate effectively with the housekeeping and front desk staff to ensure the best experience for guests.
• Follow all company safety standards, including proper equipment handling to avoid injury to yourself and others.
• Handle, store and label all hazardous substances according to state and federal regulations.

Essential Physical Abilities:

• 
  Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, such as reaching, bending and stooping.
• Ability to pull heavy loads weighing up to 75 lbs. and lift and/or carry or otherwise move equipment, boxes, and luggage.
• Periodically required to work at a very fast pace, under pressure.
