The Heathman Lodge is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team here in Vancouver, Washington!!

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team to help keep our grounds safe and clean for all.

We are here to help develop into an ALLSTAR team. To be successful as a Maintenance Technician you must be honest, pleasant, and have detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all maintenance policies, procedures, and standards.

Maintenance Technician will work the essential functions:

• Completes assigned checklist of janitorial duties and responsibilities to maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility

• Reports any repairs, i.e., broken or damaged equipment to Maintenance Supervisor

• Maintain patio and picnic area furniture and umbrellas in a safe operating condition

• Maintains cleanliness of parking lot and grounds, keeping them litter free and empties all exterior trash receptacles

• Maintains cleanliness of water coolers and changes water on a daily basis

• Ensures facility is safe for members to use year round including de-icing sidewalks in the winter and/or controlling yellow jackets in the summer

• Maintains proper inventory levels of janitorial supplies and places orders as needed

• Provides support to the General Manager and/or department Heads for special events

• Provides support to the General Manager and/or department Heads for special events

Additional Responsibilities

• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
• Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
• Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
