We are currently seeking Manufacturing Systems Operator in East Peoria, IL Undercarriage (Building BB). This position will set up, operate and adjust heat-treat equipment to perform carburizing, cycle annealing and die quenching of gears.
Job Duties Include:
- Induction hardening, nitriding and furnace brazing
- Carbonitriding and hardening from controlled atmosphere furnaces
- Operate gas generating equipment to produce processing gases
- Work with experimental, prove design and/or test lot parts which can be processed with limited deviation from standard procedure or parts on which the setup has already been made
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Basic Computer skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work over time when required, including weekends
- Ability to communicate, read/write and interpret documents in English
Top candidates will also have:
- Previous machine shop experience
- Ability to read/write and interpret documents in English
Additional Information:
- This position does not offer relocation
- This position requires no travel
- Positions open on 3rd shift
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
- Positions are supplemental full-time
