Responsibilities include:

Manage Fresh Midwest’s Social Media:

  • Drive social media content, graphics and execution across all platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Develop strategy and plan for Twitter and Pinterest launch.
  • Identify potential new platforms and develop strategy and plan for launch (Next Door, Yelp, YouTube etc.)
  • Develop a test and learn approach to continue to advance our social media efforts
  • Report social media key metrics on content engagement and overall follower counts
  • Identify and partner with Influencers to execute giveaways, cross promotions and content.

Manage the content planning calendar that encompasses the website, emails, social and in-totes:

  • Develop copy for emails, social media, website splash pages and offline print
  • Direct the creative department on the development of emails and offline print
  • Create promotional codes when needed

Manage the cross promotion of products and announcements with partners. This includes restaurants, farms and vendors:

  • Identify communication opportunities and coordinate timing, assets and copy for communication in emails, socials, and offline promotion of partner products.

Marketing and Merchandising Plan Development:

  • Contribute strategies, ideas and execution to the development of marketing and merchandising plans to drive awareness, trial and repeat purchases
  • Work with digital advertising agency to ensure they have assets and information to execute online ads
  • Assist with awareness tactics as well as development of loyalty programs including continuity programs, welcome and lapsed programs.

Report on key metrics, track competitive activity and follow trends:

  • Track and report key business metrics on a weekly basis for team review, including insights on Google Analytics
  • Follow and report on competitive social activity
  • Subscribe to competitive emails and visit competitive websites on a routine basis
  • Report on trending topics for Fresh Midwest to leverage

Administrative and Facility efforts:

  • Assist with customer service calls and emails as needed
  • Provide merchandising support including updating product data and descriptions. Take product photos and video as needed.
  • Communicate with drivers and selectors with customer or product information as needed

Manage special projects as needed

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related area with 1-2 years experience
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytic skills. Knowledge of Google Analytics a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Wordpress, Photoshop, and Canva a plus
