Team

Marketplace Analytics is a new function at TripleLift and part of the Revenue Operations & Analytics organization. It is devoted to uncovering key quantitative insights to unlock liquidity on the company's industry-leading programmatic advertising exchange. Marketplace Analytics will be an essential partner to TripleLift's supply, platform partnerships, demand, product and other functions, as well as providing key insights into the company's financial forecasts. The Marketplace Analyst will work alongside the Revenue Analytics and Financial Planning and Analysis teams to bridge commercial, financial and product insights and predicted outcomes.

Role

The Marketplace Analyst will support in the development and maintenance of the company's marketplace model that contains product line level leading and lagging indicators used to understand marketplace health and to detect areas for intervention to improve optimization of the financial outcomes of the ad exchange platform. The Marketplace Analyst will report to the VP of Revenue Operations & Analytics, and partner closely with them on the model and analysis output. As part of maintaining the marketplace model the Marketplace Analyst will dig deeply into exchange transaction data across both supply and demand sources using sophisticated quantitative methods and make recommendations to improve outcomes for customers. They will use their knowledge of exchange data to provide insights to TripleLift stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in a quantitative or technical field, experience working with large data sets, analyzing product performance, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Work with large data sets to develop new data analysis capabilities and build them into a scalable discipline within TripleLift, including the development of documentation and other technical resources.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide recommendations and drive adoption of TripleLift products by uncovering insights into customer uptake through data analytics.
  • Analyze TripleLift's industry-leading exchange of programmatic buyers and sellers to focus on identifying short, medium and long-term opportunities to enhance liquidity and improve customer outcomes.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively to enable them to take timely actions to improve TripleLifts's results.
  • Collaborate with other TripleLift teams to support the achievement of their objectives, and identify trends and opportunities for optimizations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience performing analysis on complex data sets, including demonstrated ability to ideate original analytical approaches to yield results. BA/BS or Master's degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature preferred.
  • Experience with big data and marketplace analytics, including familiarity with marketplace and statistical measures. Experience in digital media/advertising is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills (use of Pivots, Vlookup, creating graphs, calculations using in-built functions, macros, etc.). Microsoft Power Query/Power Pivot tool set a plus.
  • Experience with SQL, pulling large data sets from various data sources, and the ability to articulate and answer business and product questions.
  • Patience and persistence to engage with complex problems and opportunities over a long time period to bring it to a successful conclusion.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills including collaborating cross-functionally and producing high quality, clear and concise summaries of findings to share with key stakeholders.
  • Distinctive problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while working in a fast-paced environment.

US Jobs: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the TripleLift salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of TripleLift's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
Pay is based on various non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, and skills.
Salary Range Transparency: $145,000-$253,000 per year
