Description:

• Full Time (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm – with every other weekend rotation)
• Location: Silver Spring, MD
• Engineering Department
• This position reports to Plant Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• To maintain Hospital, answer trouble calls, react appropriately in emergency situations and maintain hospital machinery and equipment.
• Provide emergency response to all Plant Operations equipment and tube system.

What you will need:

Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent is required, with courses in shop, mathematics, mechanics, and general science.
• Technical school in mechanical maintenance, construction, electrical/electronics, and welding is preferred, or a combination of education/training and experience working in maintenance repair and troubleshooting .
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English .
• Ability to understand and manipulate systems computers
• Capable of reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints.
• Weekend work and shift rotation may be required.
