Overview
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 5-10 years of engineering experience
- Proficiency in Solid Modelling such as Solidworks, Pro-E, or Catia. Siemens NX preferred
- Proficiency in a PLM software. Siemens Team Center Engineering preferred
- Experience interfacing with a facilities department

Day-to-Day
A semiconductor company in San Diego is looking for a mechanical engineer who will focus on factory layout. This individual's primary responsibility will be to work in Siemens NX to piece together modules and design the layout of the factory.
- Assists in project planning including key deliverables, timeline, and budget.
- Works with other Engineers and CAD Designers to provide system-level design organization in the factory setting
- Supports driving full documentation of design including, BOM, drawings, and procedures
- Interacts closely with development engineers, scientists, suppliers, and QA to resolve quality issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
