Blended Rate: $3780- $3960/wk. ($105/hr - $110/hr).
Stipend: $1281/wk.

** BLS, ACLS, NY License, 2 years’ experience, Tele experience, Chemo Certification. **

Job Summary:
30 Bed unit. Exciting opportunity for an individual who is interested in adult hematology-oncology patients throughout all phases of their care including initial diagnosis, treatment and end of life care. This facility provides exciting opportunities to cultivate and strengthen your knowledge and competence in general medical and surgical nursing skills, as well as become an expert in oncology care.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other cancer-related medications as prescribed by the physician
- Coordinate and evaluate treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on the safe administration of medication, side effects, and health management techniques
- Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report changes or abnormalities to the physician in charge
- Conduct regular assessments of the patients' physical and emotional health status
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a patient-centered approach to care
- Monitor and record patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, test results, and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with the physician in charge to develop and modify treatment plans
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control and safety protocols
