Summit Medical Group of Cookeville has an opportunity for a Medical Scribe / LPN or CMA who will be responsible for transcription of patient medical information and other assigned duties. This is a full-time time opportunity.

EXPERIENCE: Prefer one year experience in a medical office setting. Overview:

- Transcribes records for providers efficiently and accuracy.
- Maintains current knowledge of medical terminology and software.
- Returns or distributes dictated information within the requested deadlines, and by the requested methods.
- Performs duties in a professional manner while exhibiting a courteous and cooperative demeanor with patients, co-workers, management and the public.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Adheres to all appropriate aspects of the corporate compliance plan
- Maintains strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.
- Performs related work as assigned.
EDUCATION: LPN in State of Tennessee or Certified Medical Assistant
