Bayon Medical Group LLC seeks a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Lynn Primary Care Center and Lowell Primary Care Center in Lynn and Lowell, Massachusetts. We are looking for a qualified individual who holds a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) / Mental Health Counselor (MHC) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has experience working with non-English speaking patients, particularly Cambodian Americans.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will provide counseling services to individuals with various mental health issues. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions. In addition, you will work closely with a team of mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' mental health needs.

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient's goals and needs.

- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address a range of mental health issues.

- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate integrated care.

- Offer crisis intervention and support during emergency situations.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.

- Stay informed about current research, best practices, and cultural considerations related to mental health counseling.

Requirements:

- LMHC/MHC or LCSW license (or will license for MHC) in Massachusetts.

- Experience working with non-English speaking populations, specifically Cambodian Americans, is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment planning.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

- Proficiency in both English and Khmer is highly desirable.

- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to counseling.
