Headway is seeking a qualified mental health therapist to work with adolescents and their families providing psychotherapy in the day treatment program. Therapists provide individual, family, and group therapy along with completing clinical documentation around diagnosing, treatment planning, and skills strategies for a caseload of clients.

This position is full time, 40 hours per week year-round.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pm ***Some flexibility around scheduling outside of program hours

Day treatment programming runs M-F, 7:30-3:00pm. Programming follows a typical school year calendar including shortened summer programming hours.

Locations open: Brooklyn Center, Hopkins

Job Overview:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the mental health services for clients
• Conduct Diagnostic Assessments and develop related treatment plans
• Provide ongoing therapy with students
• Provide Group and Family therapy
• Maintain ongoing and timely documentation of services

Key expectations include developing effective therapeutic relationships with clients, providing individual therapy, diagnosing and assessing individuals, and completing effectively treatment planning and interventions. You will be part of a team that works together to restore the community from the trauma of the past using a strengths-based framework. Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mental Health field
• Must be working towards or have one of the following: LPCC, LP, LMFT, LICSW
• Experience working with school-aged population
• Organizational skills to complete documentation
