Alphanumeric is hiring a Metal Finisher/Blender to work second shift 3pm to 11:30pm in Orlando, FL with a major power generation equipment and storage solutions provider for the energy industry.
Alphanumeric is hiring a Metal Finisher/Blender to work second shift 3pm to 11:30pm in Orlando, FL with a major power generation equipment and storage solutions provider for the energy industry.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Blenders (ORC & OMC)Set up, operate, and tend machines to mix or blend materials, such as chemicals, metals, etc.
- Ability to use pneumatic tools for grinding metallic and ceramic finishes.
- Manual polishing and deburr of metals and ceramic coatings.
- Basic troubleshooting for machine and pneumatic tool maintenance.
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent; or at least six months
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
