About Us

Sunshine Health provides exceptional long term and acute care services for adults in need. We are an award winning, locally owned care facility serving the Spokane community for over 70 years. Responsibilities of the Mental Health Tech

• Meal monitoring
• Medication Management
• Assisting residents with basic needs
• Cleaning beds and rooms
• Keep accurate charts
• Provide warm, compassionate and friendly care to residents while ensuring a safe and calm environment
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Assure client dignity, rights and safety
• Follow guidelines for universal precautions and procedures

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
• Successful completion of a Washington state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements

Certificates/Licenses

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) in Washington
• Current CPR certification
