Techworks Consulting, Inc. is an experienced IT Consulting company located in Ronkonkoma, NY in search of a strong Network / Cable Infrastructure Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position suitable for a candidate experienced with wiring, termination, DVR/CCTV, access control, network configuration, and miscellaneous infrastructure skills as well as a Technical background. This position is focused in our Field Services division and works directly with our Senior Infrastructure Specialist and Engineers on daily service requests along with large wiring and infrastructure migration projects.

Job Duties and Requirements Include:
- Installing and terminating Ethernet cable runs in large office environments
- Strong wiring knowledge, ability to run network cables, terminate keystones, install patch panels, etc.
- Installation and configuration of Access Control, DVR/CCTV, and similar systems
- Installation of network equipment racks, and infrastructure equipment
- Performing In-House Technical Service and Preparation on new equipment deployments
- Performing Level 1 Network and PC Troubleshooting
- Knowledge of IT Services and ability to answer technical questions from clients
- Punctual and reliable as well as maintaining a work-life balance
- Demonstrates professionalism at all times
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to work well independently, with a team, and across departments
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organization skills including detailed time entry and documentation
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Willing to travel for large projects
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must be willing to submit to background check

- Familiarity with Connectwise, RMM Tools, and/or Managed Services experience a big plus.
