Network Engineer: Endeavor Managed Services is searching for a talented person to join a growing dynamic team. This role is an exciting key role for large enterprise network design upgrade and rollout. This position will be responsible for network analysis, design, configuration and implementation. Working with customer, vendor and internal team this role will be the SME and provide remote support during implementation and installation of new network.

Responsibilities:

• As part of a Network Design team, creates Bills of Material (Hardware and Software) for Network Devices, develops network device configurations, and tests those networks systems to ensure designs meet customer specifications.
• Create test plans, procedures, and write test reports.
• Troubleshoot complex networks.
• Creative, innovative responsibilities requiring advanced decision-making skills
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses
• Regular contact with senior levels of internal work groups
• Works under limited direction

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficient use and understanding of network engineering concepts and principles,
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and Network Devices and Network Test Equipment
• Proficient with requirements management & system modeling tools
• Recognizes various architectural patterns
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient written and verbal communications skills
• Creative thinker
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficient ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and effectively handle complex assignments
• Shows initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment and professionally executes projects with little direction

Basic Qualifications:

• Current Cisco CCNA certification desired
• Experience with enterprise-level network design, engineering, and administration.
• Experience with common networking devices such as firewalls, switches, and fabric interconnects. Commonly used brands include Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto.
• Experience interfacing with customer POCs to evaluate networking needs or requirements and explain technical terms to non-technical users.
• Experience with Fiber Optic cabling and communications standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet
• Experience with Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Meraki product line, Fortinet Product line
• Experience with Cisco AP's and Wireless Controllers, Meraki Wireless
• Experience with NetBrain and/or other SNMP monitoring platforms.
• Experience working with ServiceNow

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
