Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer, you will leverage your experience and technical expertise to ensure the stability of Citizens business operations. As a member of the network engineering team, you will work collaboratively to drive the design, planning, implementation and analysis of the office and branch network infrastructure solutions.
The Network Engineer II will be responsible for:
- Monitoring key network diagnostics; maintaining performance records; identifying and recording performance trends and patterns.
- Ensuring the availability and functionality of mission-critical highly complex secure connectivity solutions.
- Work together with our property partners on new office/branch build outs, expansions, relocations, and closures projects.
- As the Network Engineer II you will be responsible for design and implementation of Wired/WiFi/ SDWAN and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
- Key player in Merger and Acquisitions ventures.
- Collaborating with other engineering and IT teams to plan, develop, execute and support infrastructure and network-related projects; offer thought leadership in regard to network service delivery and management.
- Assisting resolve escalating network-related issues; participate on cross-departmental crisis resolution teams as required.
- Managing low voltage vendors to make sure the banks standards are applied.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of working experience in network engineering, systems administration or related field; experience managing engineering and technical employees
- Experience managing engineers or other technical personnel; experience managing infrastructure projects; cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with engineering, planning and developing network solutions
- Experience with routing/switching, WiFi, SDWAN and carrier infrastructure
- Familiar with the following vendor platforms (Cisco, Arista, Aruba/HPE, VMware VeloCloud) and Central Management platforms (Cisco WiFi, Aruba NetEdit, Aruba Mobility Conductor, Aruba/HPE Clearpass NAC, Airwave, CloudVision)
- Familiar with Cisco Call Manager platform provisioning
- Experience with managing a high-volume of property related projects.
- Hands-on Experience in Clearpass Network Access Control is preferred.
- Hands-on Experience in Aruba Mobility is preferred
- Hands-on Experience in Vmware SDwan technology is preferred
- Thoughtful and thorough in analysis of presented policy information.
- Experience with response to audit requests and establishment of repeatable processes.
- Familiar with the development of change control procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Working experience in the financial services industry; understanding of the roles of consumer and custodial banks
- Experience implementing large-scale infrastructure solutions with a proven track record of success
- Cisco/Aruba/Arista/VmWare/Juniper coursework and/or certifications
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: M-F, Weekends and Nights as Required
The salary range for this position is $ 65600- $ 98400, plus benefits and an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.
