What you should know about being an NP/PA at Senior Doc
All our Nurse Practitioners work autonomously, under the supervision of a Senior Doc physician, with travel required. It's also important to feel comfortable working with geriatric patients. Qualifications:- Active, unencumbered license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- 1+ years of clinical experience in highest level of education (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to resident locations
- Ability to obtain DEA licensure/prescriptive authority post-hire
- Conduct in-home assessments including past medical history, review of symptoms, physical examination, medication review and depression screening
- Responsible for checking vitals and conducting a physical exam as necessary
- Identify diagnoses to be used in care management and active medical management in the furtherance of treatment
- Formulate a list of current and past medical conditions using clinical knowledge and judgment and the findings of your assessment
- Educate members on topics such as disease process, medication and compliance
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain security of protected health information (PHI)
