Glogens is an agricultural organic fertilizer company founded under the principle that good soil health leads to healthier lives and communities. We seek an Office Operation Associate to join our company office in West Sacramento.

Without a completed degree, $17.50-21/hr

With a completed degree, $22-33/hr

Glogens seeks a knowledgeable, passionate, and productive candidate to fill our part-time/ full-time office operation associate position. This team member will help facilitate the day-to-day operations of organizations. You will work under the supervision of our CEO. Your role is also not limited to performing clerical and administrative tasks such as filing and organizing documents, preparing reports, maintaining internal databases, processing requests, and coordinating across finance, research, and HR teams.

Job Type: Part-Time (20+)/ Full-time

Compensation:

  • Starting at $17.50 - $33.00 per hour (depending on experience) and up
  • Two (2) weeks of Personal Time Off
  • Plus, mileage and maintenance reimbursement
  • Benefits after three (3) months of employment: Health Care, Dental, and Vision Insurance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creates daily reports
  • Provides real-time assistance
  • Performs routine admin tasks
  • Identifies opportunities for operations improvements
  • Handles ad hoc task
  • Ensures deliverables are met
  • Sets up meetings and appointment document detailed logs of farm conditions and research metrics at each visit
  • Collaborate with the Glogens team to resolve complex farming issues

Other

  • Must be comfortable and willing to drive to our farm research center in Davis & Rio Linda
  • Attend staff, service, and training meetings as required
  • Track time and garden notes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hard-working and detail-oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to perform manual work, lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods
  • Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to use various apps and technology, including, but not limited to clock in/out apps, Microsoft Office, and CRM.
  • Ability to provide friendly and clear communication

· Must be willing and able to pass a background check High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is preferredValid California driver's license and comply with all state driving/transportation laws

Availability:

  • Must be willing to be primarily open availability Monday - Friday between 8 am and 6 pm as start and end times. Flexibility is a must for both of us, the employer and you.

Schedule:

  • 4-8 hour shifts Monday - Friday

Work Travel:

  • Willing to travel 30% to our research farms and our partner's facilities.
