Summary
This position provides seasonal, part-time support to the Flight Operations Department. The primary duties include assisting with the acceptance and verification of aircraft flight logs, maintaining NAFTA annual recertification process, maintaining pilot training records and binders, preparation of US Forest Service and Conair reports. Frequently responds to non-routine correspondence and assists with assembling confidential and time-sensitive information reports. Other duties as assigned.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Verification and recording of flight logs in Ramco, communicate to pilots for error corrections.
  • Daily US Forest Service reports
  • Reports to Conair of flight data
  • Maintain pilot training records/binders
  • Facilitate gathering MATOC daily flight report elements
  • Special projects and other duties, as assigned

Education and Experience
Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; and
  • Two years of related experience

  • Associate’s degree

Work Environment
This job operates in an office and hangar environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually at a typical office level and while in the hangar with frequent periods of moderately loud noises. Exposure to industrial chemical smells, fragrances, animals, etc.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Regular exposure to a hangar environment with walking/traversing hazards, uneven surfaces and stairs.

Position self (to), Move - Constantly positions self in work environment, some filing required with ability to lift files, open file cabinets and sit/bend/stand as necessary.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, typically weekdays with variable hours between 7:00 am to 4:00 pm based on workload. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
