This is what you will do:
The Organizational Change & Adoption Lead will lead the development and delivery of change strategies and plans to motivate and support people to adopt change. The Organizational Change & Adoption Lead will work closely with the Head of Strategy & Operations and the Transformation Management Office (TMO) to prioritize requests for adoption support, then partner with business leaders and project managers to deliver the change. This role will be responsible for evaluating the level and type of change, establish change strategies, and support management of detailed change impacts and execution of change plan as needed. This role will also support with other strategic initiatives including organizational design and capability work.

The Organizational Change & Adoption Lead will:
- Lead and manage change adoption initiatives for the Alexion Development, Regulatory, & Safety organization
- Partner with the Transformation Management Office (TMO) to evaluate and prioritize change adoption support requests and align resources
- Develop and own change adoption strategy for large-sized projects, ensuring alignment to broader organizational business strategy
- Coach and guide leaders and project managers to lead change efforts for small- and medium-sized projects
- Apply a structured methodology (e.g., PROSCI) to plan and deliver change adoption tactics and drive sustainable behavior change
- Identify key stakeholders, conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness
- Develop and execute communications and engagement strategy
- Support the design and delivery of training programs, as needed (e.g., provide input, document requirements, etc.)
- Establish a change champion network for large-sized projects
- Track and report adoption risks, issues, dependencies, and any blockers to the adoption work for supported projects
- Support additional organizational change work, including organizational design and/or organizational strategy efforts
- Identify, analyze and prepare adoption risk mitigation tactics
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance
- Consult and coach project teams
- Support and engage senior leaders
- Integrate change management activities into project plan
- Define, track and analyze adoption success metrics for large-sized projects
- Monitor and report out change progress to leaders / key stakeholders
- Coordinate efforts with other functions as needed (e.g., HR, IT, Quality)
You will need to have:
- Professional with 5+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated project success in leading change management
- Acute business acumen and / or prior experience in consulting
- Expertise in change management principles, methodologies and tools (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR)
- Experience developing effective adoption strategies to drive sustainable behavior change and minimize resistance
- Experience planning and delivering organizational change management tactics (e.g., change impact analysis, readiness assessment, resistance management, champion network)
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; can clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Experience tracking and monitoring change progress and modifying plans / tactics as needed
- Excellent time management, organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills; ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships cross-functionally; work collaboratively with and through others
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Robust working experience in international and intercultural settings
- Fluency in English
- The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. - Experience leading both waterfall and agile approaches to change management methodologies
- Has grown and developed change leaders through mentorship and teaching
- Has led teams with multiple change management workstreams and resources
- Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Certificate of Change Management Practitioner (CCMP), or similar certification
