JOB DETAIL
Position Title : Outpatient - Registered Nurse
Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Triage, make appropriate referrals to Departments within facility such as: Walk in Clinic, Eye Clinic, Dental, Diabetes Educator, Nutrition, JVN, Case Management and Mental Health.
- Provide adequate care to any patient that presents to facility seeking treatment, understanding that any type of patient may present for care.
- Follows Kayenta IHS policy and procedures.
- Interacts in a professional manner with patients and coworkers.
- Follows federal licensing, accreditation and regulating body standards from bodies such as: The Joint Commission, CMS, DHHS, PHS, IHS and any other agency that the facility is accountable to.
- Receives reports from EMS over radio or phone.
- Takes assigned ambulance patients as needed.
- Takes supervision from Lead Clinical nurse, Acting LCN and Other staff as needed.
- Assumes roll of Charge Nurse when Assigned.
- Comes to work with a positive attitude and provides feedback in a professional manner.
- Will participate in Department and service unit Performance and quality improvement projects.
- Will participate in Incident command events as needed.
- Will take late nurse duties per nursing schedule or as needed Monday through Friday.
Qualification Requirements:
Experience: shall have one year recent Outpatient/Emergency Department experience, RN experience, as approved by the Supervisory Clinical Nurse. Shall have knowledge and training on ICD-10
Certification:Current RN in any state.
- BLS,
- ACLS,
- PALS,
- TNCC

Pay: $60.00 - $100.00 per hour
