Cash Accounting Clerks assist the Cash Accounting Supervisors in the day-to-day functions of the Cash Accounting Office. They are responsible for balancing the cash registers and the daily processing of Excel and Access reports. They will also assist personnel at the cash accounting window, perform daily spot checks on registers, maintain our rewards program and coupons, accept lost and found items, and research register and payment issues.

This is a part-time position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position.

Summary of Major Duties/Responsibilities:

• Must demonstrate our Customer Service Pledge

• Must be approachable, showing that our guests are our priority.
• Must initiate contact with our guest by being courteous and greeting them with a smile.
• Must be willing to listen to our guests and provide for their needs
• Must provide a genuine Thank You to every guest
• Responsible for balancing cash registers
• Assist floor personnel with cash registers
• Responsible for the closing and back up of the Microsoft D365 System
• Count the vault twice daily

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

• Must maintain a neat appearance and meet the uniform standards
• Must be able to walk or stand 5-8 hours
• Must be able to tolerate repetitive motion of the hands/fingers/wrists when processing the cash registers bags
• Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-tak, and have experience in Excel
• Must respond and follow through in a timely manner to phone calls and issues received by the cash accounting office
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and outside vendors and function effectively as part of a team
• Strong customer-service approach is required to include outgoing, pleasant, and friendly personality
• Must have basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing)

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required

Experience: Cash register experience preferred but not required
