Patient Experience Manager Job at Crozer Health
The Patient Experience Manager oversees efforts to ensure the highest possible patient experience outcomes through the ongoing analysis of data, development of performance improvement plans and management of all patient experience officers, specialist, patient relations representative, and personnel within the scope of patient experience of care.
Responsible for leading, coordinating and oversight of the hospital’s comprehensive program to continuously improve the experience of patients and to promote an organization-wide approach to patient-centeredness and engagement. The Patient Experience Manager serves as a change agent and works closely with hospital leaders in identifying priority areas, developing goals, planning improvement, and measuring effectiveness. Recognizes that the patient experience encompasses quality, safety and service encounters and that sustained improvement requires an engaged workforce.
Serves as a subject matter expert on established and evolving best practices related to service and patient engagement and facilitates strategic planning and development of detailed work plans.y
Education/Experience:
A minimum of 5 years combined experience in a hospital setting, health plan, or physician office/group; previous supervisory and managerial experience is highly desirable; a history of increasing responsibility in leading such activities within a hospital setting; a bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business or a related field is preferred. Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) recommended within 2 years of accepting position.
