Patient Transport Coordinator.

At Bagdad Shire Center, Patient Transport Coordinator (PTC) helps keep our Temple operations running efficiently, and we currently need someone to take on this challenging role. We’re seeking an exceptionally detail-oriented and personable staff member to work part-time in our fast-paced office. The ideal candidate will bring resourcefulness, organization, and superb communication skills to the role. This person should have experience working in an office, supporting volunteers, and working with the public in various administrative tasks. With a knack for keeping cool under pressure and juggling complex schedules and projects.

Hours and Compensation:

  • Monday through Thursday from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
  • $14.50 / hour
  • After six months of successful evaluation, $15.50. At the end of a one-year probationary period, negotiable upon approval of the Board of Directors.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient Transportation, Lodging, or other issues with hospital care.
  • Process Memorials by Friday of each week, be sure to send another donation envelope in the acknowledgment.
  • Answer the phone and return messages within 2 business days.
  • Reply to emails within 2 business days.
  • Collect and put mail in various boxes within 2 business days.
  • Make check deposits at least bi-weekly.
  • Draw calendar winners each month, and send winner checks out biweekly. Provide a list of winners for posting on the website.
  • Process dues and keep webfez current.
  • Issue calendar sales checks to clubs, units, and lodges that sold calendars.
  • Complete Dadgab and directory on time - this requires contacting the Divan Members (Board of Directors) to complete their part.
  • Complete and process any reports to the Imperial office.
  • File appropriately so we have records electronically and/or hard copy
  • Help with Installation and ceremonial events with registration or activity planning.
  • Assist with Divan’s (Board of Directors) travel needs and expense reimbursement processing.

Requirements desired and skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant
  • Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques
  • A high degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Quick Books
  • High school diploma
