We are looking for an experiend Pharmacist to work full time in our Treasure Valley Hospital pharmacy. Hours will vary.
Treasury Valley Hospital is a 28-bed, Joint Commission accredited surgical facility located in Boise, Idaho, which is consistently recognized for patient satisfaction. Treasure Valley Hospital has 10 operating rooms and specializes in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Gynecology, General Surgery and others. Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Min: USD $63.00/Hr. Max: USD $73.00/Hr.

Treasury Valley Hospital is a 28-bed, Joint Commission accredited surgical facility located in Boise, Idaho, which is consistently recognized for patient satisfaction. Treasure Valley Hospital has 10 operating rooms and specializes in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Gynecology, General Surgery and others.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday varied shifts with some weekend on call.
- Considered medicine experts and will be a liaison with other medical staff on problems patients may experience when taking medications, providing advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication, including route.
- Checking ordered medication to ensure that there are no errors and that they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient.
- Participates in patient care, taking patient drug histories and involvement in decision-making on appropriate treatments. Discussing the patient’s medication treatments with both the patient and provider.
- Enters data in computer system/EMR.
- Maintains flexibility with scheduling and job assignments in order to cover patient needs. Ability to work in multiple locations.
- Fosters a positive and professional hospital environment by interacting with all persons in a considerate, helpful and courteous manner and by participating as a team member.
- Participates in committees, work groups, and meetings as deemed necessary. Can demonstrate measurable results and meet target dates. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and takes part in shared leadership.
- Prepares IV medications and other complex treatments.
- Utilizes Individual goals and KPI models to measure and report on performance improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Licensed to dispense pharmaceuticals in the State of Idaho required.
- Minimum of one year of experience required. Residency or previous hospital experience preferred.
- BLS required or obtained within 90 days.
