Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will greet customers as they enter the room, assist them in seating, and obtaining their chips to play. You will report to the Poker Supervisors, or Manager on duty.
- Start Rate: $17.00/hour | Part-Time position available
Primary Tasks:
You will promote guest relations by acknowledging and welcoming guests.
Enroll new guests in the player’s club system. Assist guests to obtain new and replacement cards.
Provide excellent guest service by providing answers to customer or public inquiries regarding general gaming procedures, payouts, etc.
Help maintain poker dealer table banks (trays) and the appearance of the card room.
Direct customers to their table and assist supervisors with starting and maintaining games.
Keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
Notify Supervisor immediately and discretely of suspicious activity.
Exchange money, credit, chips, and tickets.
All paperwork must be signed and dated.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM
High School Diploma or GED
Experience handling large volumes of cash.
Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions or conversions).
Apply oral or written communication techniques.
Need to have some knowledge of poker and procedures.
Prior experience in direct customer contact.
