Poolside Food Runner Job at Seaside Cafe
THIS IS AN OUTDOOR POSITION WITH HOURS OF 9AM-5PM (APPROX). TIPPED POSITION.
Job summary: A Food Runner will deliver all items from the kitchen to table side in a timely and professional manner. The Food Runner is an essential position within the restaurant as they act as the bridge between the front and back of the house.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Present a hospitable positive attitude to guests and coworkers
- Demonstrate sound menu knowledge to inform guests
- Possess the ability to multitask during dinner service.
- Inform patrons of various services of the plantation as well as the surrounding area
- Basic restaurant processes of setting tables, clearing dishes, serving items properly, and offering service.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals
- Complete opening and closing duties (see opening and closing duties list)
- Perform other duties and assignments to meet business needs and requirements as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
