We are seeking individuals to join the DoubleTree by Hilton Campbell-Pruneyard Plaza. * The Banquet Porter* is responsible for setting up events, running food, and breaking down both dining and cratered events. This position also assists with kitchen duties such food production and stewarding and assists with bussing table in the restaurant. Other duties may be assigned.

• Adhere to the hotel's guidelines to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of our team members and guests.
• Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and per property-specific guidelines
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing
• personalized service to guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Set up and move tables, chairs, and other equipment for the staging of banquets and/or meetings.
• Set tables with clean linens, and other supplies.
• Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays.
• Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Assist other team members and departments to contribute to the best
• overall performance of the department, restaurant, and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.

  Qualifications:

  High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
