Northern Lights Psychotherapy is seeking to hire a full-time post-doctoral resident in clinical psychology. This a growing private practice providing psychotherapy services on an outpatient basis for older adolescents and adults in and beyond the Loudoun and Fairfax county area. Issues treated include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship problems. Applicants will have completed their doctoral degree in clinical psychology or are scheduled to have their degree conferred by September 2023. Ideal candidates are seeking to acquire clinical supervision and assistance with professional development while preparing for the licensing exam, in addition to providing 20-25 client-facing hours per week (remotely or in-person). The position is commission based and pays 50% of the rate per session (practice accepts self-pay clients as well as some insurances). The schedule is flexible as employees set their own hours. Northern Lights Psychotherapy is open to providing additional training to develop desired specialties further.
